In early 2007 I put my condo up for sale in the Lakeview area of Chicago. I used Mark Miles and Bonnie Kirincic-Reyburn as my realtors. My experience with them and with Dreamtown was a success. My condo was under contract in 16 days and the closing happened about 2 months after the initial listing. I felt comfortable dealing with Mark as he really listened to me with regard to how I wanted to price the condo. He added his expert opinions and together we came up with a price that worked. Additionally, Mark and Bonnie went above and beyond to make this real estate transaction smooth and easy for me. For example, the new buyer asked to have the floors sanded before closing. Mark and Bonnie not only had a "floor guy" to recommend, but they also contacted him for me, priced it out and also opened my condo for him to do the work. I did not have to be involved at all and the job was done within days. Also, any correspondence that was needed, they came to my office to pick up and drop off. I work long hours and do not have a lot of extra time during the day for these types of things. With Mark and Bonnie at the helm, I felt well taken care of, and they were ready to solve any issue or snag as soon as it came up. Finally, the communication level with Mark and Bonnie was great. My dog, Honey, and I moved to Chicago from St. Louis, MO. I fortunately found Mark on the Dreamtown website. He was such a big help to me. I had to fly in on a few occasions to look at properties and Mark always had the showings lined up allowing me to see what I wanted in the least amount of time possible.
Since I moved from out of state, Mark dealt with the small issues for me that must be done for a move that I couldn't handle long distance. For example, he worked with the alderman's office for moving truck parking permits, and he really looked out for us in all aspects. I was ready to pay full price for my home, but Mark negotiated a lower selling price, even though that meant a lower commission for him. I wholeheartedly recommend Mark if you want an agent who has your best interests in mind.

We chose the Dream Town website because it was a great way to review the market for condos, but we had no idea how indispensable Mark Miles would turn out to be! When it came time to purchase a condo for our son, Mark made it possible for us to view eighteen in two days, negotiate bids and purchase, close and take occupancy in two weeks from the day we viewed the first condo! We live out of state, yet we made only one trip to Chicago until the closing and the move, thanks to Mark's knowledge of the market, organization, attention to detail - and to us.

In 2005, through Mark Miles's efforts, I became a homeowner for the very first time. After renting all of my life, I decided that it was time to actually own and put a little equity into my life.
I'd found Mark Miles through a website I was searching on. I'd been looking for a condo in the Downtown Chicago Area. I previously lived in Presidential Towers, and had become very accustomed to walking to work! The trick was, could something be found in the Downtown Area within my price range? Or, more accurately, within the price range that the bank had defined it?
Mark began by showing me properties within the South Loop. We looked at Dearborn Park and River City. I settled on a unit in River City, because it was closest to work, had a nice kitchen, and was closest to the CTA and Metra (I gave up the car when I moved Downtown).
Mark took me thru every step of the way. He was very understanding that this was my first time as a buyer and, because of that, I was unfamiliar with the procedures. When a problem occurred because the bank would not release the money until after the closing date, Mark helped negotiate a deal with the previous owner that allowed me to move in anyway (I already had the movers scheduled, arranged the day off from work. My attorney called Mark ıııA bright young man who will have a terrific future in real estate. ııı
Now, according to another family member who knows my attorney, that's praise indeed! Should my needs change in a couple of years, I will call Mark Miles again!

My recent purchase of a condominium was not my first real estate purchase, not by a long shot, so I came to Mark with a real "been there, done that" attitude. I was also very busy settling into my new job in downtown Chicago, so my schedule was very tight and my demands, well, very demanding. I had no patience for the typical "schmooze" thrown at prospective buyers by many real estate agents.
Mark was extremely patient with me, even to the point of rescheduling showing a couple of times when I had to cancel on short notice. More importantly, he really listened to what I wanted and lined up the right properties in the right neighborhood for me to look at. I found the exact unit I wanted and could comfortably afford, and Mark stayed with me through the entire process, right up to the day of the closing.

We love the place. Thanks a lot for your help in finding the right place for us. Since the time we bought the condo my older daughter has gone through rotations for her final year in Pharmacy along with our second daughter. And now our youngest daughter is going to stay with our middle daughter during her internship. We have come up to the City and enjoyed our weekends. Some of our friends from Danville have also spent time at the condo. Our children's cousins have all stayed at the condo after a night out on the town. Needless to say not only are we enjoying the place, all our friends and family are using the place to its full potential.

I contacted Mark Miles to sell my 'first' condo and to assist me with purchasing a single family home in Lakeview. The purchase went very smoothly and I am glad I chose a Realtor to assist me in the process. Mark worked tirelessly to negotiate the best possible price that he could, and his expertise of the transaction helped us get other things included in the deal that we wouldn't have even asked for. He then was able to provide me with a list of accomplished real estate attorneys and professional home inspectors. He even provided me a list of his preferred lenders, one of which provided me a substantial savings over a family friend. He clearly was looking out for my best interests throughout the process.
The sale of my condo was a bigger challenge with the market slowing back to normal marketing times, however Mark used all of the marketing opportunities that he could to bring attention to my condo, especially the exposure on the Dream Town website. While my condo wasn't updated to today's standards, he was still able to save me the time (and most of the expense) of updating the condo. Through the use of his extensive list of vendors, I was able to find a very good granite company that gave me a great deal and I was able to pass that great deal long to the buyer of my condo. Purchasing a bank owned house the week you are getting married is not the best of ideas for first time buyers but it is what we did. Mark was very patient throughout the entire process and handled it well. He was very timely in his responses to all our inquires and even negotiated to get us a large credit for any hidden expenses that might have come up. Words can't describe how helpful Mark was to us.
